Upholsterer

Position Summary

The Upholsterer will be responsible to make or repair upholstery for Living Spaces designed furniture.

• Be responsible to make or repair upholstery for Living Spaces designed furniture.
• Fit, install, and secure material on frames, using hand tools, power tools, glue, cement, and/or staples.
• Build furniture up with loose fiber stuffing, cotton, felt, and/or foam padding to form smooth rounded surfaces.
• Make, restore, and/or create custom upholstered furniture, using hand tools and knowledge of sketches and design specifications.

Education/

Experience:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Basic knowledge of fabric and use of upholstery or cutting hand tools is a plus. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Tools and Equipment Used: Manual and power tools; calculator, ruler, scissors, and other basic and commonly used tools to develop and complete an upholstery production project.

Certificates and Licenses: No certifications needed.

Pay range: $19.00 - $25.38 per hour. Retail, Guest Services, and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive team bonus based on meeting specific goals and KPI’s.
