Position Title: Warehouse Lead - Pick/Stage
Basic
Purpose:
Manage, and implement strategies related to warehouse functions to ensure the achievement of the organization’s goals.
- Oversee the productivity of the pick/stage department.
- Distribute work tickets to pick employees.
- Distribute route information to stagers.
- Ensure proper distribution of manpower to effectively complete pick and staging.
- Monitor organization of work area, cleanliness and potential safety concerns.
- Conduct inspections and quality checks on items being processed for accuracy on all stages.
- Process subs as needed to provide accurate documentation for stages.
- Ensure all items processed are complete with a barcode.
- Monitor scanning processes to ensure accuracy.
- Teach and train new hires on proper staging techniques and BAR functions.
- Teach and train new hires on proper pulling techniques.
- Conduct periodic inspections on rack locations to check for organization, cleanliness, protection and accuracy.
- Update transfers to other locations based on actual items sent.
