Position Summary

The Seamstress will be responsible for processing upholstery production pieces by actively fabricating and developing upholstery for Living Spaces designed furniture; responsible to ensure efficient product movement and storage.

Qualifications
  • Up to 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Skills and qualifications: verbal communication, professionalism, sensitivity to confidential matters, organization, teamwork.
  • Language ability:
    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Math ability:
    Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
  • Reasoning ability:
    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Safety – Approaches work in a safe manner; uses protective equipment appropriately; maintains good work safety record and encourages others to do the same; notifies management of unsafe conditions or hazards.
  • Physical demands:
    May occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Vision:
    Close, peripheral, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.
  • Education:

    High school diploma or GED in relevant field or equivalent.

Position Hiring Range

Compensation: $18.50 - $24.70. Retail, Guest Services, and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive team bonus based on meeting specific goals and KPI’s.
