This is a great opportunity to join a team providing outpatient care at a group private practice located in San Diego County. Our group practice provides comprehensive outpatient counseling services such as referrals, intake assistance, billing, and marketing support. A 90‑day peer mentor program supports new therapists. Responsibilities- Assess and treat youth, adults, couples, and families in outpatient care largely via in‑network health insurance.
- Provide quality clinical care and complete documentation.
- Collaborate with licensed staff as needed, including attending monthly consultations.
- Assist continuous training of new staff members.
- Independently troubleshoot and find effective solutions.
- Address safety concerns and questions, and provide consistent support.
- Communicate with the Clinical Leader regarding office and case management.
- Discuss clinical matters and hiring concerns with leadership.
- Communicate with the team and clients in a timely and effective way.
- Respond to non‑urgent items within 72 hours or sooner, when possible.

- Treat patients both in‑person and via telehealth.
- Additional duties as needed.
- An active BBS license in California as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC is required.
- Outpatient counseling experience (2+ years).
- Proficient in conducting assessments and making diagnoses.
- Provide a quality experience in delivering outpatient care.
- Skilled and knowledgeable in developing treatment plans independently.
- Possess a willingness to work with couples.
- Experience with military populations is preferred.
- Must be a collaborative team player.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and respond promptly.
- Strong organizational abilities are required.
- A firm understanding and adherence to clinical boundaries.
- Ready and eager to take on leadership responsibilities.
- Ability to address both clinical and employment‑related concerns.
- Dedicated to fostering a positive and supportive work culture.
- Bilingual (preferred).
- $55 - $70 hourly.
