Job Description:
- Clinical Care
- Provides care to patient and family care that progresses them towards self-identified, holistic, and individualized goals.
- Performs care through individualized assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of safe, therapeutic, efficient care for patients.
- Promotes quality outcomes.
- Clinical Collaboration Collaborates or seeks additional resources as needed in the management of complex, new/unusual, or other high-risk clinical situations.
- Serves as patient and family advocate in ensuring excellent and satisfying care.
Skills:
- 2 years’ experience in Radiology
License and Certification Requirement:
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers – American Heart Association
- California Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) license – NMTCB
Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist, one of the following:
- ARRT (N)
- NMTCB (CNMT)
Certified Computed Tomography (CT), one of the following:
- ARRT (CT)
- NMTCB (CT)
Education:
- Satisfactory completion of formal training program in an AMA approved school for Nuclear Medicine technology that meets the requirements for the State of California and/or Federal mandated certification or equivalent.
Scheduling Requirements:
Variable weekday shifts (M–F):
- 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Weekend Requirements:
- Every other weekend coverage: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
On-Call Requirements:
- On-call availability as needed with a 45-minute response time
- When on call:
- Contact pharmacy from home to order radiopharmaceutical doses
- Notify ordering provider of anticipated wait time
- Report onsite when dose arrival is expected (typically 1–1.5 hours)
