About the Role

Upperline Health is seeking a well‑trained Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) to provide foot and ankle care. This position covers the entire gamut of foot and ankle medicine—from comprehensive patient examination through surgical, non‑surgical, and biomechanical management of all conditions. The candidate must demonstrate compassion, meticulous attention to detail, and thrive in a collaborative environment.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Assess patients presenting lower extremity complaints, review medical history, listen to concerns, perform a physical examination, order imaging or labs, and develop a clinical plan of care.
  • Provide comprehensive examination and care for podiatric patients, including at‑risk foot care, painful conditions, trauma, wound care, and surgical management when appropriate.
  • Provide surgical services within scope, education, training, and experience.
  • Administer foot‑care advice, educate patients and families on wellness, medication usage, side effects, adherence, and prevention.
  • Maintain accurate patient medical records and documentation in line with state regulations and Upperline standards.
  • Participate in continuing education as required by the state Board of Podiatric Medicine.
  • Prescribe medication as permitted by the state Board of Podiatric Medicine.
  • Perform other related duties as deemed necessary.
Experience and Qualifications

Degree of Doctor of Podiatric Medicine with appropriate certification and licensure is required.

  • DPM license required—active license preferred or ability to obtain within applicable timeframe.
  • Board qualified or board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM) and/or American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS)—foot and/or RRA.
  • Strong compassion for patients and families.
  • DEA registration or eligibility required.
  • CPR certification expected and consistent with state Board requirements.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Competitive salary range of $150,000‑$225,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
