We are the largest private provider of residential and community-based services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in the state of Kentucky. We are a local non-profit organization founded in 1970 by Louisville-area parents of people with IDD.

We are seeking qualified individuals who are determined to share meaningful interactions that cultivate mutual respect and unconditional love to those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Our employees are the cornerstone of all that we do, and our team provides friendly and regular support to our staff of over 450 people.
- Consult with DSP staff and individuals as appropriate for plan of care
- Inform leadership of any issues that may pose a risk to the health, safety, and wellbeing of individuals
- Cut, trim, and shape hair based on preferences, hair type, and facial features
- Clean and sanitize tools such as scissors, combs, and other applicable tools
- Provide excellent service and care to our individuals
- Graduation from Cosmetology School.
- Valid state Cosmetology License required for each procedure performed.
- At least one year of experience required.
- Must bring own supplies and equipment
- Must be 18 years or older
- Contract position, 2-6 hours per week. Schedule and pay per cut negotiable.
