Job Description:
Registered Nurse Med-Surg- PRN, Nights
Status: PRN
Shift: Third
Job SummaryA registered nurse implements the nursing process for each patient/resident (pediatric to geriatrics depending onscope of care in the nursing department in which he/she works) assigned to his/her care.
Responsibilities- Assesses patient clinical status.
- Develops a plan of care.
- Implementation of the nursing plan of care.
- Evaluation of the effectiveness of the care plan.
- Communication and validation of patient care information.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
- Active Kentucky RN License.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required.
