Baptist Health LaGrange is seeking to hire a PRN (as needed)
Sterile Processing Tech
. The Tech is an individual with decontamination sterilization knowledge and abilities, who provides a continuum of sterile instruments and supplies to Surgical Services and other in-house departments as needed.

By supporting the nursing staff and aiding in the coordination of care, the Central Supply Tech assists in the fulfillment of the department mission to provide 24 hour quality surgical care.

• Provide decontamination and sterilization knowledge and abilities, and supply sterile instruments and materials to Surgical Services and other in-house departments as needed.
• Support nursing staff and aid in coordination of care to help fulfill the department mission of 24-hour quality surgical care.

• HSPA/IAHSMM Certification obtained within 12 months of employment
• Two years recent CPD experience (preferred)
• HSPA Certification (preferred)
