Shift: PRN Night Shift (7p-7a)
Baptist Health LaGrange is adding a brand new 11-bed inpatient behavioral health unit. Our focus will be providing care for adults 18 and older who require hospitalization for behavioral health needs in a safe and structured environment. The unit utilizes an interdisciplinary team approach to provide care for patients. Team is made up of registered nurses, mental health technicians, social workers, recreational therapist, and psychiatrist.
WhatYou'll Do
- Implement Patient and Family education plan
- Assist the RN with patient assessment
- Communicate the patient s status to peers, supervisors, and patient s physician as appropriate
- Evaluate effectiveness of implemented nursing care
- Performs job in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
- You have experience in behavioral health (not required)
- You have an active Registered Nurse certification
- You have or will obtain BLS certification
- You are positive and passionate about helping those in our community
