Day (United States of America)

• Checks supplies and equipment needed for surgical procedures (scrubs, gowns, gloves, etc.).
• Sets up the sterile table with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications/solutions, demonstrating knowledge of the procedure and patient positioning.
• Performs appropriate counts with the circulator before the operation and before the incision is closed.
• Gowns and gloves the surgeon and assistants.
• Assists other team members with terminal cleaning of the room and prepping for the next patient.

• Associate, High School Graduate or Equivalent (Required).
• Technical/Vocational School (Required).
• Basic Life Support – CPR Cert (BLS).
• RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement.
• State Certified Surgical Technologist (CST – EV Accredited).
• Technician in Surgery – Certified (NTSC – EV Accredited).

$25.65 – $52.00 per hour
