Center for Human Development Inc. is seeking two full-time Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisors, Dual and Crisis to provide clinical supervision of the CHD Mobile Crisis Intervention Team (MCIT) and Adult Behavioral Health Team. Provides consultation, training, and technical assistance to MCIT staff and Behavioral Health staff. The Crisis Clinical Supervisor provides after-hours emergency services, phone consultations, and crisis intervention. This position may carry’s a small caseload as determined with a maximum of 10 clients.
CHD WILL PAY UP TO $3500 IN RELOCATION REIMBURSEMENT AND UP TO $2000 TOWARDS FIRST MONTH RENT!

Essential Functions:
- Certified Clinical Supervisor or willing to complete requirements as a certified clinical supervisor within two years of employment
- Supervises clinical practice.
- Provides clinical supervision (individual and group) to all staff on team.
- Responsible for clinical consultation
- Facilitates team development
- Provides ongoing training and support around risk assessment, safety planning, and coordination of care.
- Clinical Supervisors report unresolved performance issues that may require personnel action directly to personnel rep and Head of Clinical Operations
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Other job duties as assigned.
Crisis:
- Coordinates with community partners and provides education and support to community partners, i.e. Sheriff’s Department, hospital, courts, etc.
- Staffs and provides support over the phone for crisis staff (24/7)
- Actively responds to crisis (assessment and coordinating of care)
- Oversees civil commitment process.
Behavioral Health:
- Monitors licensure/certification requirements; supervises clinical practice.
- Hold staff accountable for performance measures including, but not limited to, productivity, timely documentation of clinical services, compliance with Medicaid and other regulatory and funding authorities, etc.
- Responsible for client service delivery.
- Responsible for quality initiative
- Acts as liaison to Administrative Council, provides clinical knowledge and expertise and proposes policy and practice.
The Requirements:
- Master’s degree from an accredited university in behavioral/mental health, psychology, sociology, or other human services related filed.
- Must have 2 years post masters experience.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Practicing Counselor (LPC) for at least 2 years preferred for Crisis Clinical Supervisor. Required for Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor.
- Two years of experience in a comparable position dedicated to quality/ health improvement in a managed care organization or provider group or governmental agency or similar setting preferred.
- Ability to function in a team-based environment.
- Ability to effectively problem solve.
- Ability to manage individuals and teams through coaching, mentoring, training, and delegation.
- Effective oral and written communication.
- QMHP’s must be credentialed as a mental health investigator or willing to pursue credentialing.
- Must possess a valid Oregon Driver’s license and be insurable for client service purposes, travel between business offices, and to attend required meeting and/or trainings.
- Must pass all criminal history check requirements as required by ORS and in accordance with OAR - and drug screening.
