$15.00/hr - $17.50/hr

• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Register sales on assigned cash registers, provide customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Model and share customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, including interpersonal habits (e.g., greeting, eye contact, courtesy) and Walgreens service traits (proactively offering help, identifying needs, servicing until satisfied).
• Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
• Recommend items for sale, trade‑up, and companion items.
• Process purchases on the cash register, collect cash, distribute change, and handle voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
• Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandising, take inventory, maintain records, and price merchandise as directed.
• Implement company asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss.
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages, tobacco).
• Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise; complete resets and revisions as directed.
• Assist with separation of food items and product placement as specified by policies (e.g., raw meats on bottom shelves). Use first‑in, first‑out method for stock rotation.
• Possess working knowledge of store systems and equipment.
• Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photos, poster printing, and creative machines; upsell promotional photo products.
• Assume web pick‑up responsibilities by monitoring orders, picking items, and delivering orders to customers upon arrival.
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance to keep the store clean and orderly.
• Comply with all company policies and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

• Attend required training and complete PPLs assigned by the manager or corporate.

• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except for Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

• At least six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except for Puerto Rico).
