Overview

Emplify Health by Gundersen Health System is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join the Department of Neurosurgery. This is a part-time 0.5 FTE position with potential to increase if service needs grow. The successful candidate will join a collegial group of 6 PAs/NPs, 3 Neurosurgeons, and an Endovascular Neurologist.

You will join a busy inpatient neurosurgery and neurovascular practice. This role includes a weekend call rotation of 1 in 7 weeks (72 hours of call every 7th weekend).

Support inpatient neurosurgery and neurovascular services; participate in weekend call coverage; collaborate with a multidisciplinary team; contribute to teaching and clinical education as appropriate.

Must have completed an accredited PA/NP program and be eligible to obtain a license to practice in the multi-state region with no restrictions or limitations. Advanced practice clinicians work under the direct supervision of a physician. Teaching students, residents, fellows or clinical staff is a cornerstone of our Medical Education philosophy and an expectation of all clinicians. Clinician staff may need to provide outreach service as part of their role in the system.
