Registered Nurse – Neurosurgery Clinic (Part-Time)

Location: East Building, La Crosse, WI
FTE: 0.8 (64 hours per two weeks)
Start Times: 7:30 AM and 8:00 AM
Schedule: Monday–Friday, no weekends, holidays, or call obligation
Starting Pay: $30.46/hour (higher based on experience)

Join a collaborative and specialized team in our Neurosurgery Clinic, where you’ll support patients undergoing complex procedures such as brain tumor surgeries, spinal fusions, and discectomies. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting nurse-only visits for wound assessments and post-op care
• Providing pre-operative education to patients and families
• Performing telephone triage and managing in-basket messaging
• Collaborating with 5 RNs, 6 APCs, and 3 neurosurgeons in a dynamic clinic setting

• Associate degree in nursing (minimum); BSN preferred
• RN license to practice in Wisconsin
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
• Preferred experience in wound care or pre-op teaching
• At least 1 year of RN experience is ideal
