** We are looking for a Production Planner in La Crosse, WI.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, regular business hours

The Production Planner plays a key role in ensuring smooth plant operations and on-time delivery to customers. This position is responsible for creating and maintaining production schedules, monitoring material availability, and coordinating resources to meet customer demand. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Production Planner balances production capacity, inventory levels, and customer requirements to drive efficient order fulfillment and overall operational success.

* Job Duties:

*** Develop and maintain daily/weekly production schedules to align with customer demand and maximize plant efficiency.
* Monitor inventory levels and confirm material availability to meet order requirements.
* Adjust schedules as needed in response to changes in customer orders, material supply, or production capacity.
* Issue and maintain work orders and blend sheets, ensuring accuracy to customer specifications.
* Communicate schedules, updates, and changes to Production, Sales, and Operations teams.
* Partner with Warehouse and Purchasing teams to secure timely delivery of raw materials.
* Support inventory management by reducing excess/aging stock and maintaining safety stock levels.
* Create and maintain bills of materials, production orders, and item cards within the ERP system.
* Provide accurate reporting and documentation to support operational planning.
* Collaborate with Quality and Production teams to ensure compliance with specifications, allergen controls, and kosher requirements where applicable.
* Process inventory adjustments in accounting software.
* Stay current on projects, production workload, and manufacturing processes.
* Actively participate in production meetings, new product meetings, and other team meetings as assigned.
