Maintenance Assistant

This person will assist on an as needed basis.

Eagle Crest Communities is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our facility maintenance team at our Eagle Crest South Campus in La Crosse
. This person supports in the general upkeep of the facility and grounds.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with apartment turnover such as painting and carpet maintenance
• Preventive maintenance such as furnace filter changes, light bulb replacement, and water temp checks.
• Maintenance services such as unclogging drains, plunging toilets, cable TV hook up, and other resident requests
• Maintain required records, documentation, and reports
• Responsible for storing deliveries, cleaning designated areas, and various other tasks as needed
• Survey buildings and grounds and advise supervisor of any unclean or unsafe conditions, faulty equipment, or system problems

What You’ll Need

• Some knowledge and skills in maintenance, monitoring equipment, security devices beneficial
• Basic maintenance, electricity, heating, plumbing, and equipment such as vacuum cleaners, lawn equipment, and/or small hand tools preferred
• Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a safe driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent

Our Wages

• Starting wage is between $18.90 + per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
• We’ll review your wages at 6 months— we pay more for high performance!
