Equity Staffing Group is seeking a Desktop Support Technician for a 6 month temporary assignment to provide hands‑on technical support for computers, laptops, printers, and related equipment in a fast‑paced environment.
* This is 100% onsite in La Crosse, WI*
Key Responsibilities:- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues; elevate as needed
- Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies
- Document incidents and maintain accurate service logs
- High School Diploma/GED plus:
- 2 years IT‑related work/military experience
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Service Now, Service Desk)
- Bachelor’s Degree
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification
- Experience with Windows 10, macOS, Active Directory, Citrix, PC imaging (FOG), Microsoft System Center, Dell laptops, and Xerox devices
- Strong communication and customer service skills
