Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and empathetic Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of care.

Positions Available in La Crosse and Onalaska

Part-Time

• Caregiver: 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift (with rotating weekends)

Full-Time

• Caregiver: 1st and 2nd shift (with rotating weekends)
• Overnight sleep: 10pm-6am (with rotating weekends)
• Caregiver/Supervisor: combination of caregiver and supervisory hours (with rotating weekends)
• Floating Caregiver: position requires flexibility (with rotating weekends)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist individuals with daily activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration and/or reminders.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients.
• Help with heavy lifting and mobility assistance as needed.
• Coordinate appointments and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.
• Work with individuals with developmental disabilities in a caring and respectful manner.

Requirements: Completion of Caregiver Background Check, must be at least 18 years of Age, a Valid Driver License is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $18.50 per hour

Creative Community Living Services (CCLS) was pioneered in 1973 by a group of individuals who shared an innovative vision that people with disabilities deserved to live in the community- not in institutions. From that vision, CCLS was created to provide community-based living arrangements for people with disabilities. The first CCLS program opened when eight young women who had spent their lives in a state institution moved into a large house on Madison's east side.

Today, CCLS serves clients in more than 20 counties, providing highly individualized programs that range from one-to-one assistance in individual homes to all forms of personalized living arrangements in community supported living, adult family homes and community based residential facilities. CCLS is one of the largest, most diverse service providers for people with special needs in the State of Wisconsin.
