Overview

FLSA:
Non-Exempt. This is a resident care position at Hillview Terrace; an assisted living facility located on our Hillview Healthcare Campus. We provide supportive and personal care services to elders in our community, where there is an emphasis in person centered care and a home like environment. Employees are selected by and work under the supervision of the Assisted Living Supervisor.

Wage range = $17.06 to $20.89 per hour plus shift differentials.

Location: Hillview Terrace

Shift: AM shift (7:00 AM to 1:00 PM), every other weekend & holiday rotation with the ability to pick up additional shifts based on facility needs.

Essential Job Functions

Assist individuals in all areas of personal hygiene, activities of daily living and care of their living area and personal belongings. When possible, encourage the highest practicable level of independence. [1]

Provide treatment and determines and administers medications by following the “Five Rights,” of right resident, right medication, right dosage, right time, and right route/method.

Assist individuals at mealtime including food prep, feeding and supervision while dining. Ensures each individual diet is followed. [1]
