Children and Families Assistant; PT

Join the Children and Families Team of the La Crosse Public Library!

The La Crosse Public Library is currently seeking an enthusiastic, talented candidate for two 20-hour part-time Library Assistant positions in our Children and Families Department. This position provides library services to partner organizations, schools, story times, and more, while also helping to provide support in our CREATE Lab. The job requires a high level of public contact and strong multi-tasking abilities. Because of the nature of the job duties, daily onsite work attendance is critical.

Applicants should possess fantastic customer service skills, including adaptability, listening, a great sense of humor, and kindness. A well-developed sense of time management, organization, and a willingness to serve our community is key. Candidates should enjoy working equally with children, teens, adults, and seniors. Work assignments vary daily and the successful candidate will be self-directed and motivated to help the library continue to shine.
