job duties- each department at uw‑lacrosse maintains an ongoing search to serve as a pool of potential instructors for program needs. The instructor, when hired, will be under the general supervision of the relevant department chair.
- the instructor is responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses, preparing for and holding classes (face‑to‑face, hybrid, and/or online).
- maintain currency in the content area, evaluate students’ work, assess student outcomes, provide feedback, maintain records, and hold office hours.
- may advise students and/or provide other service to the department; additional duties may be assigned by chair or dean.

required qualificationsmaster’s degree in a field appropriate to the needs of the department, or significant progress toward a doctorate degree, or, in rare circumstances, post‑baccalaureate certification or licensure, or a baccalaureate plus experience, can be established as appropriate qualifications for the teaching position. Depending on the program, specific certification/licensure or clinical experience may be required.
