Office Lead Assistant
LocationCanteen - 3172 Berlin Drive, La Crosse, WI 54601. Online applications accepted only.
ScheduleFull time. Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.
Key Responsibilities- Answers central telephone system and directs calls accordingly.
- Operates office machines.
- Prepares outgoing mail; sorts and distributes incoming mail.
- Opens incoming correspondence and determines appropriate course of action and priority.
- Duplicates and distributes materials.
- Composes, types and edits correspondence, reports, memoranda and other material.
- Maintains an accurate, complete filing system to facilitate immediate retrieval of any required documents.
- Maintains office supply inventory.
- Answers basic questions and provides guidance on office procedures.
- Assists with the onboarding and training of office assistant associates.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- 10 Key data entry
- Works with purchasing to assist with accurate recording of inventory in the software.
- Electronically facilitates moving of materials from various locations to the warehouse.
- Inventory control experience preferred but not required.
- Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, some Word).
- Directs inventory teams for regular inventory cycle counts.
- Previous data entry experience required.
- Accounting background and previous Microsoft Office experience preferred.
- Maintains accurate, orderly work processes and ensures tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
- Effectively manages multiple responsibilities, priorities, and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Prioritizes tasks, adapts to changing demands, keeps work areas organized.
- Possesses strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Self‑motivated and detail‑oriented.
$19.00 to $22.00 per hour. Internal Employee Referral Bonus available.
