Senior Auditor, Technology Industry – Wipfli

We are looking for an experienced Senior Auditor to join our Technology Industry practice. This role requires a hybrid work arrangement: you will regularly work in a Wipfli office, from home, and at client sites. Meetings at client and office locations will require in‑person attendance.

• Audit financial statements, quarterly financial information, and clients’ annual reports.
• Take part in pre‑audit planning to assess the risk of material misstatement of financial accounts and design effective audit procedures.
• Identify accounting and audit issues and perform research to solve them.
• Test internal controls, policies, and procedures and make recommendations.
• Perform audits under GAAS, GAAP, PCAOB, AICPA auditing standards, and SOX.
• Proactively build relationships and communicate with clients and associates.
• Teach, train, and develop incoming staff and interns.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field (required). Must meet the educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam.
• CPA certification preferred; candidates actively pursuing CPA certification will be considered.
• 1–3 years of accounting‑related experience.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work effectively on multiple tasks.
• Adaptable to varying levels of client complexity in people, processes, and systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel to client sites up to 50%.
