DMA is comprised of three distinct service lines (DMA Development Company, DMA Properties, and DMA Property Advisors) related to the development and management of affordable multifamily housing communities.

About the community:
Affordable, luxury community is 94 units located in Kyle, Texas 78640.

This position is part‑time (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday); not more than 29 hours weekly

The Housekeeper reports directly to the Community Manager. As the Housekeeper, you are responsible for the overall cleanliness, sanitation, and safety of the community. Positively represents DMA by adhering to quality standards and a customer focused approach.

• Works with Community Manager to ensure that organizational goals are achieved while adhering to DMA community standards.
• Collaborates with maintenance staff to meet quality standards for the entire community, including all commons areas, vacant and model units.
• Reports all safety hazards to the Community Manager immediately.
• Cleans all vacant units monthly; cleans models weekly.
• Tracks all supplies, notifying the Community Manager when inventory is low.
• Works with Community Manager to repair or order cleaning equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Previous experience as a housekeeper or janitorial position.
• Must be able to prioritize work, organize tasks, and handle all with a strong sense of urgency.
• This position requires strong attention to detail.
• General knowledge of computers and email.
• Professional skills needed for this position include adaptability, compassion, dedication, empathy, ethical, flexibility, honest, humility, initiative, integrity, maturity, patience, presentation, reliability, respect, responsibility, self‑confidence, sharing, and strong verbal and nonverbal communication.
• Abilities and skills needed for this position are critical thinking, decision making, meeting deadlines, motivating others, multitasking, organizational skills, prioritizing tasks, planning, problem‑solving, rational thought, scheduling, self‑directing, strategic thinking, teamwork as well as working independently.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License required.

Normal physical activity can be strenuous and may involve prolonged standing, walking, reaching, bending, crouching, stooping, and lying. The utilization of cleaning tools and chemicals will be required for this position and the employee must be able to lift, push/pull, or carry up to 50 pounds. Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors and may be exposed to inclement weather.

The Housekeeper may also be exposed to dangerous chemicals, and skin irritants (i.e. cleaning solutions, solvents, insecticides). The use of goggles, gloves, safety boots, and other safety equipment may be required. While performing the demands described above, the Housekeeper will regularly be required to talk, hear, stand, and use hand and fingers to handle/feel objects, operate tools or controls, operate office equipment, and reach with hands/arms.
