As a Senior Platform Engineer / SRE, you'll be part of a team responsible for our central API stack at the edge locations. You'll work on the conception, automation, and operation of our platform and drive continuous improvements. We're looking for someone who is comfortable in a security‑oriented environment with a high degree of automation (Git Ops). While there is a certain focus on Observability, as a Senior, you're able to actively shape the focus of your role based on your strengths and interests.

You are used to maintaining an overview in ambiguous situations, analyzing systems, and making well‑founded decisions based on this analysis.

• Develop and maintain our Infrastructure as Code using tools like Ansible and Terraform.
• Drive the ongoing development of our Kubernetes stack and implement Git Ops workflows (e.g., with FluxCD).
• Develop and operate Observability solutions (monitoring, logging, tracing) and serve as a go‑to person and mentor for other teams.
• Actively participate in system analysis and derive improvements, even when initial requirements are unclear.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation.

• Your professional experience is more important to us than your formal education.
• You have several years of experience as a Platform Engineer, Dev Ops Engineer or SRE.
• Your technical skills:
  You have experience with Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform), Git Ops (FluxCD), Kubernetes, Open Stack, and monitoring, logging, and tracing tools (e.g., Mimir, Loki, Grafana, Tempo).
• You have experience working in security‑critical environments and understand the associated requirements.
• You are comfortable with working in a structured corporate environment (no start‑up).
• You are able to quickly familiarise yourself with new systems and develop solutions independently.
• You have strong communication skills and enjoy sharing your knowledge.
• You speak fluent English;
  German is not a must.
