Senior Java Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with strong XML expertise to support a strategic project involving the development and enhancement of form-based business applications.

The role is highly technical, operating in a regulated environment, with close collaboration between IT teams and business stakeholders.

The consultant will cover the full software lifecycle, including:

• Designing software systems and writing technical specifications
• Maintaining and enhancing XML/XSD-based application
  s
• Implementing XML-based administration interfaces for form variant management
• Coordinating and executing migrations linked to form updates, including security requirements
• Leading technical quality assurance: testing, automation, implementation, and deployment
• Supporting agile methods
• Contributing to data standardization (including financial data) according to regulated standards
• Coordinating with external partners and engaging with stakeholders
• Enhancing architecture and specific developments using XML/XSD technologies

Only candidates meeting all the following criter

• Proficient in Eclip
  se (including XML/XSL extensions), Ant, and XSL processors
• Strong experience in Ja
  va, UML, object-oriented design, and XML technologies
• Good knowledge of relational, object-oriented, and XML databases and distributed system frameworks
• Deep expertise in XML, XSD, XSLT
• Experience in configuration manageme
  nt (tools, methods, processes)
• Practical knowledge of software development standards: ITIL, V-Modell, ISO 9000
• Excellent knowledge of XöV standar
  ds, proven by training and at least one reference project
• At least 2 reference projec
  ts from the last 3 yea
  rs in a similar context

These skills are not mandatory but are considered strong advantages:

• Experience with projects funded or executed by federal authorities
• Knowledge of FIM methodol
  ogy (ideally certified “FIM Methodenexperte”)
• Translating legal requirements into data models (XDatenfelder, XZuFi)
• Experience with XöV products and FIM editorial systems
