Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Student Counselor, based in Kollam. The Student Counselor will be responsible for guiding students in their academic and career decisions. Responsibilities include providing information on educational programs, identifying student needs, recommending suitable courses, counseling students on career paths, and addressing their academic and personal concerns. The role will also involve collaborating with institutions and assisting in enrollment processes.

Qualifications

- Strong communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills to engage effectively with students and parents.
- Understanding of educational programs, career planning, and academic counseling.
- Problem-solving, empathy, and the ability to provide tailored guidance for students facing academic challenges.
- Proficiency in handling administrative tasks, maintaining records, and managing student information systematically.
- Capability to work collaboratively with teams and external educational institutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Counseling, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
- Prior experience in academic counseling or related roles is preferred.
