Key Responsibilities
You will lead the Fish & Meat category at a national level with end-to-end ownership across sales, pricing, sourcing, vendor management, inventory, and execution. The role focuses on driving P&L performance, controlling shrinkage and wastage, strengthening vendor partnerships, ensuring quality and compliance, and delivering consistent availability and freshness across locations.
Financial (P&L)
- Own category P&L including budgeting and financial planning
- Drive buying decisions to meet sales, margin, and profitability targets
- Lead commerce planning aligned to category growth objectives
Customer
- Ensure quality standards, food safety, and regulatory compliance
- Deliver consistent freshness and customer satisfaction across stores
Internal business processes
- Lead range building and assortment planning for fish and meat
- Manage buying and merchandising execution across locations
- Strengthen vendor management to ensure continuity of supply and efficiency
Innovation / analytics
- Drive data analysis to support category decisions and performance improvement
- Use insights to optimize assortment, pricing, and buying strategies
Experience/Skills Required
- Must have minimum of 8-10 years of experience
- Experience in leading F&M/Frozen Food category business
- Preferable from Retail and E-Commerce Background
