The Upper Secondary Mathematics Teacher for School Education Coaching plays a vital role in shaping the future of students by fostering a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and their real-world applications. Design and implement engaging mathematics curricula that align with educational standards and promote critical thinking.
Facilitate interactive lessons that encourage student participation and foster a love for mathematics.
Assess student performance through various evaluation methods, providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
Collaborate with fellow educators to develop interdisciplinary projects that integrate mathematics with other subjects.
Utilize technology and innovative teaching tools to enhance the learning experience and make mathematics accessible to all students.
Provide individualized support and tutoring to students who may struggle with mathematical concepts, ensuring their success.
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and best practices in mathematics education.
Engage with parents and the community to promote the importance of mathematics education and student achievement.
Contribute to the development of a positive classroom environment that encourages respect, responsibility, and resilience.
Monitor and report on student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed to meet diverse learning needs.
We have a Monday to Saturday work week, 12PM-9PM.
Candidates must be willing to go around all South Kolkata centres of Ziel on a routine basis. We currently have our centres in Kasba, Nayabad & Prince Anwar Shah Road.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates should possess a strong foundation in mathematics and a passion for teaching. The following qualifications and skills are essential:
Master's degree in Mathematics/Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in teaching mathematics, with a track record of improving student outcomes.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
Ability to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that meets the needs of diverse learners.
Familiarity with educational technology and digital resources to enhance teaching and learning.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
