Amity University Kolkata is seeking a full-time on-site Assistant Professor of Computer Science to join the team. The role involves teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, developing and updating the curriculum, engaging in scholarly research, and mentoring students to achieve academic and professional success. The Assistant Professor will also contribute to departmental initiatives, collaborate with faculty, and participate in academic events and conferences.

The position requires a commitment to engaging learning methods and staying updated with advancements in computer science.

Qualifications
Expertise in Computer Science with proficiency in Programming
Knowledge and practical experience in Data Science and Cybersecurity
Experience and skills in Curriculum Development, including course design and instructional strategies
Commitment to innovative teaching practices and continuous learning within the discipline
Ph.D. or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field (preferred)
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with students and colleagues
Prior teaching or research experience in an academic environment is an advantage
