In This Role, You Will
Provide direct health care to students, addressing acute and chronic health issues to ensure their readiness to learn.

Develop and implement individualized health care plans in collaboration with students, families, and educational staff.
Educate students and staff on health-related topics, promoting healthy lifestyle choices and disease prevention.
Maintain accurate health records and documentation, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
Serve as a liaison between the school, families, and community health resources, facilitating access to necessary services.
Participate in school health programs and initiatives, contributing to a culture of wellness within the school community.
Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as needed, ensuring the safety of all students.
Advocate for student health needs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance educational outcomes.
Stay current with best practices in school nursing and health education, continuously seeking opportunities for professional development.
To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:
Valid nursing license and certification in school nursing or related field.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills to address diverse health issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and staff.
