Job Summary

The Nut Company is looking to strengthen its accounting team by hiring an experienced accounting professional who will lead day-to-day accounting operations, act as the primary point of contact with the Chartered Accountant, and ensure complete statutory and tax compliance. The role requires a hands-on individual capable of independently managing accounts for a growing nut processing and trading business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the internal accounting team

• Maintain accurate books of accounts using Tally

• Handle GST compliance, including:

• GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliation, and timely filings

• Manage direct tax compliance and coordination with consultants

• Prepare monthly MIS, P&L, balance sheet schedules, and cash-flow reports

• Liaise with the Chartered Accountant for audits, filings, and advisory

• Ensure statutory compliance and proper maintenance of records

• Strengthen internal controls and improve reporting processes

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong proficiency in Tally

• Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel

• Thorough understanding of GST returns and compliance

• Working knowledge of Direct Tax

• Ability to independently manage end-to-end accounting

• Good communication and coordination skills

• Prior experience in manufacturing / trading businesses preferred
