What You'll Do
You will:
Plan child-centric learning experiences aligned with our pedagogy
Design lessons, games, and provocations that make children wonder, connect, and explore
Facilitate immersive sessions with openness to children's ideas and feedback
Reflect, document, and co-learn from children's observations
Collaborate across disciplines to deliver connected, purpose-based learning
Communicate with parents regularly as learning partners
Innovate and iterate—because no plan is ever perfect, and every child is different
Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and reflection cycles
What We're Looking For
Qualifications :
Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline (B.Ed optional but valuable if paired with mindset and skills)
Experience : 3–5 years working with children or in creative/educational fields
Subject-Specific Knowledge & Experience
At Sparkling Mindz, we believe mathematics is not a subject to fear or memorize, but a language of patterns, logic, beauty, and connection . We’re looking for facilitators who can awaken a love for math by making it meaningful, creative, and empowering .
Strong Conceptual Foundation
Deep understanding of core mathematical concepts (number sense, operations, algebraic thinking, measurement, geometry, data handling, etc.)
Ability to break down abstract ideas using intuitive and visual strategies
Familiarity with multiple problem-solving approaches (heuristics, models, estimation)
Math as Thinking, Not Just Doing
Use games, puzzles, inquiry, and design to help children think mathematically
Connect math to real-world contexts , change maker problems, and interdisciplinary projects
Cultivate a classroom culture of productive struggle, reflection, and growth mindset
Joyful, Hands-On, Experiential Learning
Design manipulatives-based sessions that allow children to build concepts from experience
Bring math alive through stories, patterns in nature, architecture, music, and play
Use the classroom as a lab of reasoning rather than a worksheet factory
Collaborative, Child-Centric Approach
Observe and adapt to where each child is in their math journey, catering to both gaps and advanced learners
Foster peer learning through paired and group explorations
Value the process of how a child arrived at an answer as much as the answer itself
Assessment for Learning, Not Labeling
Use observations, math journals, portfolios, and student-led reflections to assess thinking
Track patterns in misconceptions and growth areas over time
Bonus:
Background in math, engineering, finance, economics, or data science
Familiarity with pedagogies like Inquiry-based math
Interest in using tech tools (e.g., Geo Gebra, Desmos, spreadsheet modeling) to extend understanding
Prior experience in gamifying math or using design thinking for problem solving
A background in psychology, facilitation, creative writing, or public speaking
Experience in game design, curriculum development, or change maker…
