We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material & Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The Material & Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for receiving material orders, coordinating logistics for deliveries to the field and overseeing the organization of the warehouse storage. Required Qualifications /Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Proven experience in warehouse management, inventory control and/or logistics or a similar role
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent attention to detail, Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Working knowledge & proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Knowledge of construction materials & tools preferred
- Oversee the receipt of all incoming materials and equipment, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Inspect deliveries for damage, discrepancies, and conformity to purchase orders and specifications.
- Implement and manage inventory control procedures to minimize losses and ensure optimal stock levels. Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of materials to prevent damage and deterioration.
- Develop and enforce warehouse safety and housekeeping standards.
- Coordinate the distribution of materials to various job sites, ensuring timely delivery to meet project schedules.
- Manage logistics operations, including transportation and delivery schedules.
- Work closely with project managers and site supervisors to understand material needs and priorities.
- Perform tasks requiring frequent bending, standing, and lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds. This includes moving materials, loading/unloading products, and other physical activities essential to the job.
- Maintain a safe work environment by following proper lifting techniques and adhering to safety guidelines.
Pay: $25.00 – $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
