Northwestern School Corporation is accepting applications for extra-curricular Trip Drivers and Substitute Route Bus Drivers. Northwestern requires:

• A completed online application
• A current (not more than 1 year old) expanded criminal background check
• A current Indiana Driver's License - CDL, S Endorsement, Yellow Card
• A current CDL Physical/Physical Fitness Certificate

Interested candidates should complete the online application by clicking the link on Northwestern's webpage. You will be directed to the Wabash Valley Application Consortium, where you may apply to multiple consortium-member schools, as well as apply for multiple positions from the one application.

An expanded criminal background check may be ordered through Safe Hiring Solutions from their link on Northwestern's website at: , Information/Employment – select the Northwestern Only link, then under Position select New Employee Non-Certified. If a recent background has been obtained through another school, please contact the school and request that they fax or e-mail a copy of your report to the number below.

Copies of background checks will not be accepted directly from applicants.

When the background check has been ordered and the application completed, please notify Sheila at: courtney.fulton  . When the completed application and background are received, your name will be forwarded to the Transportation Dept for consideration as a sub driver.
