• Registered Nurse-Occupational Health (1st shift) for a contract opportunity located in Kokomo, IN.
• Administer and/or provide staff oversight of emergency care, first aid and episodic treatment of occupational injuries and illnesses within standing orders.
• Serve as a role model, trainer and educator to nursing staff in the department.
• Drive common practices and procedures throughout the department.
• Ensure quality and accuracy of medical recordkeeping.
• Provide oversight and maintenance of medical equipment and supplies.
• Timely completion of department, corporate and governmental required reports.
• Assist with the promotion of plant wellness programs.
• Interface with health services customers in a knowledgeable and professional manner.
• Ensure adequate staffing to meet customer needs; hands-on patient care may be required.

• High level of initiative and sound independent judgment.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient with electronic medical records and multiple computer programs/software.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to be self-directed.
• RN Diploma/Associate degree required, BSN or BS preferred.
• Certified in Healthcare Provider CPR/AED.
• Valid RN license in state.
• Two or more years' nursing experience, ER or Occupational Health preferred, some supervisory experience preferred.
• COHN certification preferred.

Estimated Min Rate: $31.50

Estimated Max Rate: $40.00
