Hours: 7:00 pm-7:30 am

Job Description: The Cardiac Monitor Tech performs cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation. They are responsible for communicating effectively and efficiently with interdisciplinary staff.

Responsibilities and

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Previous experience in healthcare field required.
• Must demonstrate ability to communicate orally and in written format, perform basic math calculations including use of decimals.
• Must be able to interact with interdisciplinary staff.
• Must have successfully completed the arrhythmias recognition course.
• Ability to communicate with healthcare providers of varying ages.
• Recognize effect of age on interpretation of EKG’s.
• Able to sit for long periods of time and maintain high state of alertness.
