Job PurposeBorg Warner Power Drive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as an Advanced Inverter Electrical Engineering Intern in our Summer Internship Program.
This role will be involved with evaluation and testing of a next generation traction inverter including the power module, power supplies, and monitoring circuits among others.
Key Responsibilities- Perform hardware testing & verification
- Collaborate with Systems, Mechanical and Software teams in problem solving activities
- Perform simulation and analysis of Power Electronics circuit blocks
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or be a graduate from an accredited college
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
- GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or B average, upon initial hire date
- Strong hardware design and analytical skills
- Experience designing high voltage circuits and power supplies
- Experience with high voltage testing is preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
- Strong interpersonal skills required
