Site Manager

Skills Required:

• 8 Plus years of experience in the relevant field
• (3) years Mechanical Engineer experience
• (2) additional years Project Management experience

• Strong negotiating skills managing local vendors, site teams etc.

• Good knowledge of Stellantis processes & workflows followed in Kokomo plants

• Ability to view AutoCAD files & 3D CAD files to review and understand designs.

• Managing projects within budget and time constraints.

• Intermittent travel to customers' sites - Primarily to Stellantis Kokomo plants during first year.

Education/qualification:

• Associate degree in mechanical engineering technology, Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering

Nice to Haves:

• Proficient in MS Word, Office, Excel & Project

• Experience working with Global teams will be considered a Plus.

Job Description - Site Manager at Kokomo

Responsible for site management through the various phases of shipment receipt, Installation, commissioning, integration, customer interfacing for Powertrain Automation systems. The Site Manager will be responsible for customer stakeholder management & managing projects within budget and project's timeline.

Site Manager must have the following skills/experience:

• Ability to understand customer requests & be proactive in avoiding surprises to customers

• Ability to understand customer organization & manage effective stakeholders engagement

• Strong negotiating skills managing local vendors, site teams etc.

• Good knowledge of Stellantis processes & workflows followed in Kokomo plants

• Ability to view AutoCAD files & 3D CAD files to review and understand designs.

• Managing projects within budget and time constraints.

• Ability to manage day to day site activities, conduct flow meetings / standup meetings, aligning customer trades for the day's work & manage their accountabilities.

• Ability to identify and manage areas of implementation & commissioning risks.

• Ability to resolve issues and manage tasks to completion.

• Ability to balance competing interests such as customer accountability and corporate goals.

• Proficient in MS Word, Office, Excel & Project

• Ability to check and understand mechanical drawings and recognize sound mechanical design
• (3) years Mechanical Engineer experience
• (2) additional years Project Management experience

• Strong work ethic (50-hour weeks)

• Intermittent travel to customers' sites - Primarily to Stellantis Kokomo plants during first year.

• Ability to Lead and work closely with Mechanical Engineers, Controls Engineers, Electricians, and technicians during all project phases

• Ability to identify & align customers for additional works at site & related OCRs.

• Ability to assist with the writing/review of machine manuals.

• Ability to write periodic customer & corporate reports.

• Ability to Lead Debug, Run-off, Installation, training, and startup efforts at customer's site
