Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery
Location - Kodiak, AK
Pay: $43 - $64/hr based on experience
$15,000 Sign-On Bonus and Relocation Assistance!

Overview

Join a dedicated Labor & Delivery team serving families in a close-knit island community. This role offers a strong culture of collaboration, whole-person care, and professional empowerment. Key Responsibilities
  • • Provide safe, compassionate care throughout labor, birth, and immediate postpartum recovery, supporting both patients and families.
  • • Assess, monitor, and document maternal–fetal status; recognize and respond quickly to changes in condition.
  • • Collaborate with physicians, midwives, anesthesiology, and support staff to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
  • • Maintain a calm, confident presence during emergencies while following evidence-based L&D protocols.
Qualifications
  • • Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active Alaska RN license (or ability to obtain).
  • • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
  • • At least 1 year of nursing experience; L&D or acute care experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, sound clinical judgment, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
