CNA - Long Term Care *Per Diem* Kodiak

Overview

Description The Certified Nursing Assistant provides a wide verity of clinical and clerical support to the Long Term Care department and other departments in accordance with Providence philosophy, objectives, policies, procedures and standards. The CNA performs basic routine nursing and household duties/tasks to promote a resident directed model of care in the home-like setting. These duties center around the residents by assisting them in all activities of daily living and life engagement.

The CNA functions actively in a self-managed work team to coordinate daily care tasks, life engagement, and care with a focus on teamwork and professional interaction with patients, families, physicians, employees and the general public.

• Coursework/Training:
  Must complete twelve (12) hours of in-service training annually to maintain certification.
• Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.

• 6 months experience as a nurse aide, nursing assistant or private care-giver.

Posted are the minimum and maximum wage rates for this position. The successful candidate’s placement on the wage range will be based upon relevant experience and other applicable factors. The base pay range may include additional compensation such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
