CNA - Long Term Care *Per Diem* Kodiak

Description

The Certified Nursing Assistant provides a wide verity of clinical and clerical support to the Long Term Care department and other departments in accordance with Providence philosophy, objectives, policies, procedures and standards. The CNA performs basic nursing and household duties/tasks to promote a resident-directed model of care in the home-like setting. These duties center around residents by assisting them in activities of daily living and life engagement.

The CNA functions in a self-managed work team to coordinate daily care tasks, life engagement, and care with teamwork to ensure constructive relationships and growth, while maintaining a positive and professional image when interacting with patients, their families, physicians, employees and the general public.

• Coursework/Training:
  Must complete twelve (12) hours of in-service training annually to maintain certification.
• Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.

• 6 months experience as a nurse aide, nursing assistant or private caregiver.

Posted are the minimum and maximum wage rates for this position. The successful candidate’s placement on the wage range will be determined based on relevant experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
