Position
Kirhawk Trial Court of the Alaska Court System seeks a dependable individual to become a Court Case Manager 1 civil clerk (salary range 10). The job classification may promote to salary range 11 after successful completion of three years of service with the court.
Employees transferring from another State of Alaska agency may receive consideration for advance step placement.
Work EnvironmentThe Kodiak Courthouse is located on Mission Road. Staff includes two Court Case Managers 1 and two Court Case Managers 2 under the supervision of the Clerk of Court. In your role, you will become a part of the Kodiak Trial Court helping to fulfill the mission of the Alaska Court System.
Work HoursFull‑time court employees are currently scheduled to work 37.5 hours per week. The work hours for this position are Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a one‑hour lunch break.

QualificationsGraduation from high school or a General Education Development (GED) certificate and one year of office clerical experience.
Substitution options include: additional office clerical experience substituting for the high school diploma or GED on a month‑for‑month basis; completion of 36 semester credit hours or 48 quarter credit hours of coursework from an accredited college substituting for the required experience; or completion of an appropriate vocational training course such as legal secretary, paralegal, or office skills substituting for the required experience on a month‑for‑month basis.
