** Department
* * The Classified & Public division is responsible for holistic solutions from development to operation for our customers from the federal and state public sector (public authorities) and institutions of the European Union. The portfolio is developed in compliance with and further development of current security and privacy requirements. Here, the Operations Department is responsible for the secure and efficient operation of ICT infrastructures in the Classified & Public Units in accordance with the requirements of the contractual agreements with the customer.
** Tasks
* * As Operations Manager (m/f/d), you ensure application availability and the proper operation of processes and systems of the NT/IT infrastructure or applications to be managed in the area (network security).
* In addition to error analyses, you also carry out analyses of technical faults and fix these faults, and you also provide technical support in resolving incidents
* You monitor and analyze stability, capacity and performance, identifying needs for action at system and process level
* You help develop the level of automation when deploying application releases
* You work on projects and manage sub-projects
** Profil
* * They have a degree (computer science) or completed vocational training (specialist informatics) combined with several years of professional experience in the area of network operations. You also have the following knowledge and skills:
* Very good understanding of IT operations, in particular routers, switches, proxies, firewalls, intrusion detection/ intrusion prevention, antivirus, anti-spam
* Very good knowledge of security network systems such as firewalls, Genoa, routers, switches, Genuscreen, GENUGATE, GENUCENTER other security measures, network hardware/software tools
* Good know-how in the implementation, configuration, maintenance and operation of all security platforms and the associated software.
* Skills in virtualizing network security environments
* Good knowledge of proxy services (or Squid Proxy)
* Experience in working with Linux (Debian, open-BSD) operating systems
* Detailed understanding and practical experience in the area of IT security and data protection
* expertise in information technology, in particular technical knowledge of modern IT architectures (network technologies, infrastructure, applications and databases) and related deployment technologies)
* Very good knowledge of the ITIL framework

This position is also available on a part-time basis.
