As Head of Operations, you’ll be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for shaping and delivering operational strategy that drives efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll inspire and develop a high‑performing team, optimise processes, and ensure compliance across all operational areas.

You’ll have the autonomy to influence strategic decisions while rolling up your sleeves to make things happen—perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.

• Lead & Develop:
  Motivate, coach, and grow a team of 3–4, including the Supply Chain Manager, fostering accountability and high performance.
• Strategic Leadership:
  Design and implement operational strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Supply Chain Excellence:
  Oversee inbound/outbound logistics, warehousing, transport, and fulfilment to deliver OTIF targets. Demand planning and forecasting.
• Continuous Improvement:
  Drive process optimisation, cost‑saving initiatives, and innovation across operations and procurement.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
  Build strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and service providers across the UK and Europe.
• Compliance & Standards:
  Ensure adherence to food safety, health & safety, and environmental regulations.
• Financial Accountability:
  Manage budgets, forecast costs, and identify efficiency opportunities in partnership with Finance.
• Supplier Management:
  Negotiate contracts, monitor KPIs, and resolve issues to maintain quality and reliability.

• High-performing, engaged team delivering operational excellence.
• Supply chain efficiency with OTIF ≥98.5% and waste ≤3%.
• Strong supplier relationships and cost‑effective contracts.
• Compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Documented processes and shared team knowledge.
• Contribution to innovation and continuous improvement.

• Proven experience in operations leadership within FMCG or food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain and logistics.
• Excellent leadership and team development skills.
• Commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and KPIs.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
