Requirements
  • 5+ Years experience in a technology leadership role designing and developing online internet facing channels.
  • Proven ability to define and execute internet channeliał strategies from inception aligned to the corporate banking segment.
  • A proven track record of managing highly utilized critical client facing applications that demand ‘always‑on’ designs and thinking.
  • Demonstrate experience of owning end‑to‑end digital client journeys across online applications ensuring they are consistent, usable, and provide a premium user experience.
  • Ability恒 to lead cross‑functional teams including product managers, UX/UI designers and senior online platform and application developers.
  • Possess a strong understanding of emerging digital trends and technologies.
  • Experience as the operational lead for the day‑to‑day effectiveness of online platforms including corporate websites, online portals and self‑service platforms.
  • Ability to define and prioritise product roadmaps, feature enhancements and technical upgrades in an enterprise environment.
  • Collaborate with Technology, Security, Service Management and Product Teams.
  • Act as a digital champion vivid inside the firm to show how Technology can help drive adoption and alignment to strategic priorities.
  • Effectively manage external partners, vendors and agencies to support the development of technology solutions.
Purpose of the Role

To lead and manage engineering teams, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the delivery of high‑quality software solutions, driving technical excellence, fostering a culture of innovation, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to align technical decisions with business objectives.

Accountabilities
  • Lead engineering teams effectively, fostering a collaborative and high‑performance culture to achieve project goals and meet organisational objectives.
  • Oversee timelines, team allocation, risk management and task prioritisation to ensure the successful delivery of solutions within scope, time, and budget.
  • Mentor and support team members’ professional growth, conduct performance reviews, provide actionable feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Evaluate and enhance engineering processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency, streamline workflows, and optimise team productivity.
  • Collaborate with business partners, product managers, designers and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure a cohesive approach to product development.
  • Enforce technology standards, facilitate peer reviews, and implement robust testing practices to ensure the delivery of high‑quality solutions.
Director Expectations
  • Manage a business function, providing significant input to function wide strategic initiatives and influencing policy and Cody for the function.
