Your Role

Capgemini Financial Services is seeking a talented and experienced AWS Architect in Knutsford for a full-time hybrid role.

• Design and implement large-scale distributed systems with a focus on resiliency, scalability and observability
• Define cloud-native strategies and architectures for enterprise applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Create technical design specifications reference architectures and reusable patterns
• Drive adoption of Dev Ops practices CICD pipelines and automation across teams
• Lead and mentor teams in Agile delivery models and ensure alignment with enterprise standards l lifecycle

• Infrastructure as Code:
  Hands‑on experience with Terraform, Git Lab CICD
• Microservices Containers:
  Deep knowledge of Kubernetes orchestration and containerized solutions
• Dev Ops Tools:
  Jenkins Git Lab and integration with various CICD tools
• Application Design: API‑first and event‑driven architectures and prior hands‑on experience with Kafka ecosystem
• Observability Monitoring:
  Familiarity with tools for logging, metrics and tracing especially ELK and observe tools
• Soft Skills:
  
  Excellent written and verbal communication for simplifying complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders
• Ability to articulate technical solutions to business leaders and influence decision making
• Proven experience working with global distributed teams in enterprise environments
• Additional Requirements:
  
  Knowledge of data modelling best practices and Agile methodologies
• Experience with Atlassian tools JIRA Confluence for project tracking and documentation
• Ability to own and drive projects end‑to‑end in an Agile environment
• Good to have:
  Familiarity with ecosystem and platforms for faster onboarding;
  Understanding of financial services domain especially credit cards;
  Knowledge of TOGAF principles and enterprise architecture frameworks; AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or Associate preferred
