Your Role
Capgemini Financial Services is seeking a talented and experienced AWS Architect in Knutsford for a full-time hybrid role.
Responsibilities- Design and implement large-scale distributed systems with a focus on resiliency, scalability and observability
- Define cloud-native strategies and architectures for enterprise applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Create technical design specifications reference architectures and reusable patterns
- Drive adoption of Dev Ops practices CICD pipelines and automation across teams
- Lead and mentor teams in Agile delivery models and ensure alignment with enterprise standards l lifecycle

Strong expertise in Postgre
SQL plus experience with No

DB Document DB - Infrastructure as Code:
Hands‑on experience with Terraform, Git Lab CICD - Microservices Containers:
Deep knowledge of Kubernetes orchestration and containerized solutions - Dev Ops Tools:
Jenkins Git Lab and integration with various CICD tools - Application Design: API‑first and event‑driven architectures and prior hands‑on experience with Kafka ecosystem
- Observability Monitoring:
Familiarity with tools for logging, metrics and tracing especially ELK and observe tools - Soft Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication for simplifying complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders - Ability to articulate technical solutions to business leaders and influence decision making
- Proven experience working with global distributed teams in enterprise environments
- Additional Requirements:
Knowledge of data modelling best practices and Agile methodologies - Experience with Atlassian tools JIRA Confluence for project tracking and documentation
- Ability to own and drive projects end‑to‑end in an Agile environment
- Good to have:
Familiarity with ecosystem and platforms for faster onboarding;
Understanding of financial services domain especially credit cards;
Knowledge of TOGAF principles and enterprise architecture frameworks; AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or Associate preferred
