Aboutthe Role
Join the Information Services Department and work with a team of Application Developers to build powerful, real-world solutions. In this role, you’ll develop cutting-edge web applications and services using modern JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as Ember.js and the ArcGIS API for JavaScript. You’ll help transform and modernize existing systems by building dynamic applications with JavaScript and developing robust web services using Java.
Along the way, you’ll collaborate in a team-based development environment, interpret functional designs, and turn them into fully deployed, high-impact applications and services. This is an opportunity to gain hands‑on experience with enterprise-level systems, strengthen your technical expertise, and build a portfolio of meaningful work in a supportive, professional environment.
Physical Requirements
Sedentary work; exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
Minimum RequirementsMust be and maintain full‑time student status of an accredited college or university pursuing an Associates, Bachelors, or a graduate‑level degree
Must have and maintain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 or higher
Must be available to work a minimum of 15 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between 7:00AM – 5:00PM
Must have good oral and written communication skills
Must possess skills in MS Office applications, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license

Preferred RequirementsPursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Management, Business Management, or related discipline
Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher
Desire to interact with people and provide great service
Strong work ethic with attention to detail
Experience with Object Oriented development (C++, JAVA, or .Net) and/or JavaScript/HTML & CSS Design
Experience with Microsoft
