Field Service Technician - Level 2

Field Service Technician - Level 2 at Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. • Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on equipment in a safe, effective manner to avoid downtime.
• Work on a variety of makes, models, and equipment in challenging locations.

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas) strongly preferred.
• Valid driver s license and acceptable driving record (21 years of age; CDL license may be required in some locations).

• May need to provide mechanic’s tools of the trade.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs.

The role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required by the job.

• Base Pay Range: $22.40 - $30.80
• Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
